Brendon and Cathie Clancy have a greatly encouraging children's ministry that sees them helping children and parents alike engage with God in worship, songs and life right across the globe. We explore some of the facets of their ministry here at in|view.

IS MINISTERING TO CHILDREN MORE EXCITING THAN MINISTERING TO ADULTS?

BRENDON AND CATHIE // Well yes and no. The Yes is that when you minister to children you can teach them as you minister. They are hungry to know what is happening and they are attentive to instructions. You can take the time to explain the flow of the Spirit and they really enjoy and respond to that. When ministering to adults you just don't go there fully with teaching, but we LOVE to minister to adults as well. It's just different.

HOW DID YOU GET STARTED IN CHILDREN'S MINISTRY?

BRENDON AND CATHIE // We have both taught children in schools since the 1980's BUT when we came back…

As well as having presented a number of successful solo projects of his own, Justin Michael is the lead singer for Aussie band, Compliments of Gus. His warm and passionately sung vocal on their recent album, Seasoned, sets this album apart as a great Australian classic. As a widely toured musician, we explore Justin's experiences here at in|view.

WHAT DO YOU FIND THE MOST FULFILLING PART OF BEING IN COMPLIMENTS OF GUS?

JUSTIN // The relationships. It's been nearly twelve years that we've been playing music together as Compliments of Gus and around fourteen or fifteen years that we've known each other. Certainly our musicianship has grown along with the song writing and recording knowledge, but, as you might expect, any friendship that lasts that long is something to savour and continue to look after.

YOU'VE PUT IN SOME IMPRESSIVE TRAVEL MILES IN YOUR BAND. HOW HAVE YOU BEEN ABLE TO BALANCE…

She and her husband, John Barbour have written and sung on hundreds of projects as well as leading worship for Billy Graham, Franklin Graham and Greg Laurie to name a few.

WE KNOW THAT YOU HAVE HAD A GREAT VARIETY OF EXPERIENCES AS A WORSHIP LEADER AND SINGER. WHAT EXPERIENCE STANDS OUT TO YOU?

ANNE // We were in Cleveland, Ohio with Billy Graham several years ago. This was the first official "youth night" that the Grahams had ever had. At the moment of invitation, so many teens came forward that Dr. Graham assumed they had misunderstood him. He gave the invitation again and…

Some would call him the Banjo Paterson of our time; others just simply call him "Gracey". He is just as comfortable singing on stage to countless thousands of people at massive rallies in the United States as he is playing in some of Australia’s forgotten country towns. His ease at sharing the Good News of Jesus to the everyday Australian has endeared him to many. Steve Grace joins us on in|view.

YOU HAVE TRAVELLED THROUGH MUCH OF THE AUSTRALIAN OUTBACK SINGING AND PREACHING THE GOOD NEWS ABOUT JESUS CHRIST. WHAT WOULD BE YOUR MOST AMAZING EXPERIENCE?

STEVE // There are a million amazing experiences. None more important than the next. I just love every opportunity to share my  music and faith with people. I love to pray with people in need and encourage others to seek God’s best for their lives. Music is such a great way to connect and captivate people’s hearts. I did a concert to four young…

Malcolm Hawker heads up the Australasian branch of Christian Copyright Licensing (CCLI), an agency that helps Churches do the right thing with copyright each time they use a worship song and helps songwriters buy bread and milk each week. Malcolm has graciously agreed to answer a few questions here at in|view.

WHAT DREW YOU TO THE WORSHIP GENRE?

MALCOLM // For as long as I can remember I have had a love for music. Over the years I have had the opportunity to be involved in music teams and to lead worship services and keep up with all that is happening in the area of worship music.

YOU CURRENTLY HEAD UP CHRISTIAN COPYRIGHT LICENSING (CCLI) FOR THE ASIA-PACIFIC REGION. WHAT DOES CCLI DO?

MALCOLM // For over twenty years, CCLI has been actively serving churches by helping unravel the difficulties associated with copyright. We started out by providing permission to make copies of songs for a very…
